In addition to having been a popular writing reference instructor and writer, professional blurbologist and freelance editor, Karen Wiesner is the accomplished author of 156 titles published, which have been nominated/won for over a 130 awards. In 2025, I intend to work as if I'm already retired, except in the case of whenever my publisher is ready to work on editing my last nine books for publication/issue (not counting OOP children's books I hope will be reissued). In that case alone, I will work on a schedule. Otherwise, I'll just follow whatever makes sense to work on at any given time. I also intend to spend almost all of 2025 practicing art in preparation for illustration children's books in the future. I don't know when I'll feel ready to start on designing artwork for a book. Most of the children's books I intend to illustrate were written by my sister, fellow children's author Linda Derkez, with some of them having been co-written together (as Cody Knows and The Elves Aren't Coming were).
 
In March, I:
-Finished preparing and consolidating a list of all my books and publications details, etc. for retirement legacy
-Wrote articles/reviews for Alien Romances Blog; uploaded
-Practiced art
 
In April, I'll:
