After feeling as though I knew some of these characters personally and for so long, I find myself a bit sad at the knowledge that I will never meet them again. (Not to mention how much I enjoy it when an author gets all mystical in the tale.) This story is exciting. Toward the ending, it became breathtaking. Literally. At one point I realized that I was holding my breath. Why? Zombies. (Yet, as my husband says, "Everything is better with zombies.")
